PlayStation owners are in for a treat this October with the news that the award winning philosophical puzzle game The Talos Principle will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 platform on October 13. As if this was not enough, The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition will also include the first person puzzler and divine expansion pack The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna, which gives players a new side of Elohim’s world and a new set of characters with their own history and society.
Within The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition, created by independent developer Croteam and written by Jonas Kyratzes and Tom Jubert, players will be asked big questions as they connect the metaphysical dots through what is now the ruins of humanity’s once great civilisations. Through the eyes of a sentient robot, players will solve complex puzzles in order to take another step closer to their path of enlightenment.
“I have it on good authority that those dedicated fans that purchase both the digital and retail versions of The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition will become omnipotent,” commented Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker. “That’s not a guarantee but certainly something to consider.”
