Flash/Arrow Spinoff Vixen Gets First Trailer
To say that The Flash/Arrow spinoff Vixen will be interesting purely based off this trailer is something of an understatement. Vixen herself will be a grand addition to the universe that is being slowly molded together by Greg Berlanti and co., but the Vixen show will be another evolution in what The CW and DC are sculpting as it’s fully animated, but yet still heavily ties into Flash and Arrow’s world.
All voiced by their live action counter-parts, the trailer sees Arrow, Flash and Cisco meet, or clash, with Vixen, who is voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke. The series was first announced in January and looks to be another hit in the seemingly unstoppable CW lineup.
“Vixen’s such a great character,” Marc Guggenheim, Executive Producer for Arrow and an integral member of the Vixen team stated. “First of all, she represents magic, which is an area that we haven’t explored on either of the two shows just yet. One thing we’re always saying is, “‘Flash’ is very different from ‘Arrow,’ ‘Arrow’ is very different from ‘Flash.'” If ‘Arrow’ is crime and ‘The Flash’ is science, ‘Vixen’ has a big magic component.”
Vixen debuts August 25th on CW Seed.
