It’s happening, it’s been timetabled now! While announcing their 2015/2016 slate, Fox have confirmed that The X-Files will come back on Sunday the 24th of January, with the following episode airing Monday the 25th of January in a two-night event premiere; the rest of the episodes will settle into the Monday time-slot thereafter. This new series will be six episodes, and feature David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and most of the original cast back to the show.
In addition, Minority Report and Gotham will share Monday evenings. Minority Report is a the sequel series to the 2002 Steven Spielberg film of the same name.
