Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff has gone and created a new sci-fi drama series entitled ‘Rain’. Sackhoff, best known for her role as BSG’s Starbuck, wrote the new series and will also star as it’s main character, ‘Rain’.
The series is set in the distant future where global warming, pollution and science have forever altered the Earth’s environment and the future of the planet and it’s inhabitants is in decline.
Discussing the project, producer Tom Rowe said:
“With Rain, Katee has created a future world and a story that are compelling as both a sweeping vision and a very personal exploration of a civilization in harrowing decline by its own hand. She has written a great story and we are excited to be working with her.”
There’s no word on when we can expect the series to land but still very excited at the prospect of a Sackhoff led project!
