The film depicts humanities leap into the stars, exploring and colonising new worlds in our Solar System. The video is very well researched, diving deep into NASA’s archives to deliver a realistic portrayal what our neighbouring planets would look and feel like. Erik Wernquist gives a detailed explanation where his inspiration and imagery for each scene came from. You can find that here!
Wanderers is just over three minutes but it captures the spirit of space travel and the desire to expand our horizons so elegantly. These three and a half minutes inspire the mind and excite the soul, something Interstellar failed to do in its two and half hour length.
