Ever wish you could go on Holidays but lack the funds for such excusrions? Well if you follow what this Dutch student did you can have the holiday of your dreams without the fuss of actually going there !
Zilla van den Born used her keen Photoshop skills to transport herself to South-East Asia for five weeks.  Over the course of the five weeks she posted photos of her adventures to Facebook and for all intents and purposes it looked like she was having the time of her life. But she never left Amsterdam.  Her family and friends had no idea that the never left the country
She had in fact visited a temple and restaurants in Amsterdam, went snorkelling in the pool of her apartment complex and used Photoshop for everything else.
Speaking to the media Zilla explained that this was actually all part of a university project in her graphic studies
“I did this to show people that we filter and manipulate what we show on social media, and that we create an online world which reality can no longer meet,” said Zilla.
“My goal was to prove how common and easy it is to distort reality. Everybody knows that pictures of models are manipulated. But we often overlook the fact that we manipulate reality also in our own lives.”
She made her point in a seriously epic fashion and while this has been an eye opener, we are quite jealous of her amazing Photoshop skills.
Definitely an eye opener for anyone that gets a few green eyes
