Masters of satire The Lonely Island have confirmed they are working on a second film, their first being the immensely underrated Hot Rod from 2007, Empire reports. The film, which as yet is unnamed, will be made for Universal, and will feature Judd Apatow as producer.
The three members, Adam Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone will co-write and star in the project which is to be set in the music world (which is to be expected given their musical success) and Taccone and Schaffer will co-direct. Considering the group have provided us with the aforementioned Hot Rod, and such classic hits as Jack Sparrow, I Just Had Sex and the poetic masterpiece Jizz In My Pants, expect the totally hilarious unexpected.
