Our favourite dysfunctional family (my own aside) are returning to our screens, the Bluth family are the heart, soul and criminal records behind ‘Arrest Development’ one of the most popular TV comedies. After returning for a special somewhat disjointed fourth season exclusively for Netflix, it has been confirmed that a fifth season is in the pipeline but we’re going to be waiting some time for it!
Ted Sarandos, chief content officer at Netflix, confirmed the shows return but he wasn’t the only one, actor Will Arnett, aka George Oscar Bluth,also addressed the fate of the show while on the TMNT tour; “Yeah, we are gonna do more Arrested Development… It’s something we all want to do, so we’re excited.”.
It took six years for the show to return to our screens the last time it was cancelled by Fox in 2006, let’s just hope we’re not waiting that long for season five!
