Ni No Kuni Hits Over 1.1 Million Units Shipped World Wide

Namco Bandai and LEVEL-5 have recently announced that Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has sold more than 1.1 million units worldwide since its release in January 2013! The complete Ni no Kuni franchise, which includes the DS version (Only released in Japan), has shipped over 1.7 million units. The game has received so far 69 awards and 145 nominations including “Best RPG” at VGX Award hosted by Spike TV in America and nominated for British Academy of Film and Television Award.

 Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch tells the tale of Oliver, a boy who finds himself travelling between two worlds on a quest to save his mother, developed by the critically acclaimed Japanese development studio, LEVEL-5. The game features animations produced and cut-scenes supervised by the legendary Japanese animation company, Studio Ghibli, and music by the world-renowned Joe Hisaishi. 

In honour of the occasion, a new ‘All in One’ edition for the PS3 game will be released on the Japanese PlayStation Store. It will feature the original game with all the DLC, Familiars from the DS version and an easy mode. This will become available on March 13th.
