A new blog post on the Capcom-Unity website has teased a potential release date for upcoming brawler, Ultra Street Fighter 4. The game will be released on arcade machines in Japan from April 2014 before NA and EU players will be able to grab it.
“Mark your calendars as Ultra SFIV hits arcades in Japan in April 2014, with the digital download versions for North American and European consoles coming soon after (before EVO!). Now I’m sure that’ll stem the new question of “April…why is it being released so far away?” I agree that it’s a little ways away but Ultra will be everything our fans have requested and more than they expected.”
If you own a copy of Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition then Ultra will be available as a digital upgrade but players who buy the game boxed will received all DLC costumes released through the entire series.
