In celebration of 5 years together, japanese visual kei band Versailles will be releasing a new single, titled ‘Rose’, the symbolism of which is bound to be clear to fans across the world. This will be the first release in almost a year from the band that hasn’t been digital, following the release of ‘Rhapsody of the Darkness’ last month. Along with this news photos have been released of the members, sporting a new look for the occasion.
The cd itself will feature two new songs from the band, ‘Rose’ and ‘妖-ayakashi-‘ (Ayakashi – ayakashi -), as well as a Japanese version of ‘Love will be born again’ and ‘The Red Carpet Day’. Both a regular and limited edition are available for pre-order, the latter being a special, boxed edition featuring an extra dvd with live footage from their recent world tour and a history of the band. While it also comes with a price tag four times that of the regular edition, it sounds like a must have for any fans and collectors who can afford it.
