Need a little more gaming in your life? Need to meet like minded individuals, splash out on so merch and kick ass at some tournaments? Well then we’ve good news for you! Gamerfest, a brand new gaming event is coming to Galway this November.
On choosing to take the event to the West of Ireland and not Dublin, the Gamerfest team said:
“For a long time now Galway, and indeed the west of Ireland, has been starved of any noteworthy gaming events, so we’re really excited to launch GamerFest 17 in the heart of the city. The reality is, despite some occasional big events taking place in Dublin, the majority of our audience don’t want the hassle and expense of travelling up there, and would much rather an excellent event based in the west.”
The 2 day event will feature a GamerZone, VR Zone, Retro Zone with Naoise O’Hara hosting. There will also be an area for those looking to pick merchandise as well as a main stage with panels featuring popular YouTubers.
