The new James Bond flick has a new director. Danny Boyle who was originally lined up to direct the new James Bond flick dropped out in August. Now Bond 25 gets a new director with Cary Joji Fukunaga taking the helm.
You may know Cary Joji Fukunaga from his work on the Netflix series Maniac with Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. Fukunaga was also the award winning director of the first series of True Detective staring Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey .

Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig announced today that Bond 25 will begin filming at Pinewood Studios on 4 March 2019 under the helm of director, Cary Joji Fukunaga with a worldwide release date of 14 February 2020. “We are delighted to be working with Cary. His versatility and innovation make him an excellent choice for our next James Bond adventure," said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
Bond 25 is rumoured to be Daniel Craig’s last as the titular spy. Although production was been delayed since Boyle’s departure, the film is now set to release on February 14th 2020.
