Not long ago Ben Affleck dropped a video goodie from the upcoming solo Batman film on Twitter. The clip consisted of the infamous villain Deathstroke walking ominously towards the camera and looking not too pleased.
If some of you recognise the costume but not the name, it’s because you may know him as something else. Deathstroke was known as Slade Wilson in the popular TV Series Teen Titans where he was voiced by Ron Perlman. And thanks to @Mister_Batfleck on Twitter, we can see what live-action Slade would be like if he too was voiced by Perlman.
Retweeted by Perlman himself, @Mister_Batfleck posted a video where he overlayed some of Slade’s dialogue from the Teen Titans show onto the clip. Think the voice matches? Maybe that is Ron Perlman peeping out at us beneath the mask? Maybe the solo Batman movie will actually be good?! The answer to these questions will be revealed in due time. For now, the only certainty is Ron Perlman has a cool voice.
I rest Mr BatFleck's case. https://t.co/cLJ21RydMf
