UK PlayStation channel, PlayStation Access, have released a couple of great up close PlayStation VR demos showcasing some cool concepts and game ideas. Being a VR set, it is always hard to convey any game title or demo without experiencing it yourself, but the guys show off the tech pretty well.
Included are demos for Headmaster (a football heading game where the player headers a football towards targets and past obstacles) and London Heist (a mix between the Getaway and that freeway scene from the Matrix Reloaded). Both demos showcase the tech well, with the ease of aiming, shooting and reloading a gun looking and feeling natural to the player. Really looking forward to getting my hands on PlayStation VR.
PlayStation is scheduled for release for PS4 in October 2016 priced at £349/€399. Expect more info on it and all Sony’s other announcements at Sony’s E3 press conference streamed across their streaming channels on 14th June 2am Irish time.
