Game of Thrones has had a stellar season 6 for the most part, fueling Monday morning conversations in every office, car, and home. With two more episodes to go until the end of this season, resolutions are starting to appear. After all, there’s only fifteen more episodes before the show wraps for good!
The show always delivers the biggest moments in it’s ninth episode of the season, and next Monday’s Battle of the Bastards will mark the last time we ever get a ninth episode of the season. Of course, last season was an exception as the eighth episode, Hardhome, dominated the season and remained the season’s biggest talking point. Some good news on that front – Hardhome director Miguel Sapochnik will be back to helm Monday’s episode.
Ahead of it’s airing, promotional images have been released for the episode, and it looks set to be completely epic. Everybody, of course, is hoping that Ramsay will meet his end(death by Wun Wun anyone?), though this being Game of Thrones a happy ending is never guaranteed.
The pictures show plenty of worried faces(you know things are bad when Tormund looks worried), and Ramsay looking as psychotic as ever. Wun Wun leading the charge into battle looks particuarly epic.
