According to THR, actor Donald GLover is currently in talks with the team behind the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. The film is a reboot of the Sony franchise and many had hoped when first announced we’d see Glover take a run at the Miles Morales character/webbed hero.
This reboot will see Tom Holland take on the role of a High School age Peter Parker and who or what Glover will be playing/doing is being kept top secret for now!
Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled for a Summer 2017 release, it’s being produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal, with Jon Watts in the director’s chair. Glover currently voices Miles Morales in the Disney XD animated series Ultimate Spider-Man.
