There has been much speculation over the past few weeks of what the title of the upcoming MCU Spider-Man solo movie will be. This was fueled further by Sony registering a number of various different domains, one of which is in fact the official reboot title.
Sony made the reveal during CinemaCon last night, with Marvel tweeting it out to make it doubly official:
OFFICIAL: Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” swinging into theaters July 7, 2017! https://t.co/1t1WwM0gi4 pic.twitter.com/eIHi1fZQza

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be led by the already introduced Spidey of Captain America: Civil War. Speaking at the reveal, by way of BMD, Sony President Tom Rothman stated the title in references both the momentous return of our favourite web-slinger to his home at Marvel and the fact that this is a high-school, very teenage Peter Parker.
The logo is also a lot more playful that previous movie iterations, with a lot more obvious influence from classic comics featuring the webhead.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, with Tom Holland as the titular web-slinger, will swing into cinemas July 2017.

Uhhhhh…homecoming? Really? Spidey going to prom with Zendaya? The only reason people wouldn’t think I was seeing a romantic comedy would be because it had Spider-Man in the title. And what’s with that font. I get the Playsation 3 font has been overused be could you not think of anything better?
