Nintendo have confirmed that their upcoming Pokkén Tournament release will be a WiiU exclusive title.
The 3D versus fighting game lets players battle Pokémon in fighting arenas, has been bulking up its roster in recent weeks. Chandelure, Braixen, Mewtwo and Garchomp are among the newsest Pokemon to be added.
The various playable modes have also been detailed further, the first being a standard Single Battle mode containing three different difficulty levels. Local battle will allow one player to play on the GamePad and another with a standard controller.
Finally, Online mode will be divided into Ranked and Friendly matches. Friendly allows you to play against people you know, or people you have shared your friend code with. Ranked matches see you compete to earn ranked points.
Those who purchase the first version of the game will also receive a special Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which can be tapped to the Wii U GamePad controller to unlock the Shadow Mewtwo playable character in the game.
Pokken Tournament will release on the WiiU March 18 2016.
