Double Fine’s classic Psychonauts will be launching on PlaySation 4 soon, according to PlayStation Blog Europe. The game is one a mascot platformer/action game with a huge cult following for its obscure design and esoteric charm.
Psychonauts follows the protagonist, Raz, who has been gifted with psychic abilities. Raz, however, runs away from the circus in order to become a Psychonaut (a psychic spy), which he can achieve by joining a summer camp where he can be near other people like himself.
No date has been given as of yet, but it’s expected Psychonauts will launch sometime this spring.
It was also announced that the now-funded sequel, Psychonauts 2, will be coming to Playstation 4 when it finally sees release.
