Mwahahahaha! Come, children, sit by the fire and behold these terrifying tales. It’s Halloween time, folks! As such, this week’s gallery is focusing in on all things spooky and scary with a series of art pieces sure to make you shiver. One of the things that I love when viewing art pieces is trying to imagine the story behind the art. Whether it’s a terrifying creature bathed in blood or a little girl out on her own at night, I always have to wonder how that scene came to be. As the old adage goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ve chosen several pieces that I think either tell or a scary story all on their own, or simply remind us all that Halloween is around the corner and our own mortality is potentially in the hands of forces unknown (lookin’ at you, Slendy!)
