Arrow And Gotham Line-Up New Characters For Latest Seasons
It’s a double-whammy of comic book adaptations adding new characters as both Gotham and Arrow are filling up the ranks for their upcoming seasons.
Gotham has added Silver St. Cloud, to be played by Natalie Alyn Lind. From her debut in 1977. Silver has been a love interest of Bruce Wayne’s but, given his young age in the show, that probably won’t figure too much into her character. According to EW, she is described as an “ethereal beauty” with the manners and well-being of a Gotham debutante. So, she’ll definitely run in Master Bruce’s circles, then!
Arrow is also adding a Batman character, the villain Anarky, to be played by Alexander Calvert of Bates Motel fame. Anarky is a vigilante who’s had run-ins with both Green Arrow and Batman, created by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle. The Arrow interpretation of the character, coming from CBR, is described as “a deranged freelancing criminal” – so, no trouble at all then for our bow-and-arrow wielding hero!
Gotham returns Monday September 21 and Arrow returns Wednesday, October 7.
