Last week saw the announcement of the nominated trailers for The Golden Trailer Awards and it was announced that the UK trailer for The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya has been nominated in the “Best Foreign Animation Family Trailer”.
For anyone who is unaware of these awards they are the prestigious recognition for exceptional triumphs in film marketing.

The film has already been recognised by the Academy and nominated for the Oscar for Animated feature and for Animation of the Year as part of the Tokyo Anime Award Festival. The trailer for the Studio Ghibli 2014 release was produced by The Editpool, a television creative services agency based in London and the European production and distribution company, Studio Canal. It will compete against the trailers for Paper Planes, Get Santa, Song of the Sea and Shaun The Sheep The Movie.
Awards will be presented for the Golden Trailer Awards at a ceremony on May 6th.
