Marvel’s Luke Cage is the third Netflix exclusive series planned and now they’ve announced that Cheo Hodari Coker will not only be acting as writer for the first two episodes but will be an executive producer and the showrunner.
Coker will have creative authority and management responsibility for the programme which stars Mike Colter as lead, Luke Cage. Colter is best known for his roles as Lemond Bishope in The Good Wife and gamers will recognize him as Agent Jameson Locke from Halo: Nightfall.
The series has also been confirmed to premier in 2016 although Colter will make his first appearance as Cage in the second Netflix/Marvel exclusive alongside AKA Jessica Jones.
