Deadpool Film Casts Gina Carano In Mutant Role, Confirms Colossus
Gina Carano, former mixed martial artist turned actress, has been confirmed to be appearing in the upcoming Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds. This casting slots Carano into the role of the mutant known as Angel Dust. In the comics, Angel Dust is a member of the underground faction known as the Morlocks. Its unclear at this time if they will preserve the power that the character had present in the comic books. Angel Dust’s mutant ability is to supercharge her adrenaline levels, giving her feats of immense strength.
On top of this, We have a confirmation that the frequent X-Men powerhouse, Colossus, will also be popping up next to The Merc with a Mouth. There is no actor currently being eyed for the role of Colossus and rumors have circulated that Daniel Cudmore will not reprise the role from the original X-Men trilogy.
