Now that I have your attention… Since its announcement, Star Wars has been the talk of the town. It has been discussed and featured plenty over the last few months. There’s so much buzz and excitement surrounding Episode VII. And it won’t be released until 2016. There is high hopes that this new trilogy will bring back the magic of the originals and erase your vague memories of the later three.
It’s a triple threat! And by that we mean three Star Wars related topics trending at the moment.
1. What would Star Wars be like without John Williams’ score?
The simple answer is:
How awkward was it to watch this scene? I watched it through my fingers. The scene completely changes tone with the absence of music. It feels like no one wants to be there. I didn’t want to be there. It’s excruciatingly long and boring. Thank you Mr. Williams for making it better. Like Chewie, you too should have gotten a medal.
2. Sesame Street meets Star Wars
Have you ever wondered what a Sesame Street / Star Wars crossover would be like? Well, look no further than here.
It takes 5 minutes to run through all three original films and it is hilarious. The parody is about Flan Solo (puns run amok here) as he attempts different self control methods to stop himself from eating his co-pilot, a cookie named Chewie ( I told you about the puns).
3. First Look at Star Wars VII Filming
We know it’s happening. We know they’re filming the new movie. But our brains refuse to believe what we cannot see for ourselves. So, a fan caught some of the action on camera. And here is actual footage (even though it’s far far away…) of Star Wars being shot.
