News: Gal Gadot revealed as Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman!
Revealed by ‘Variety’, Gal Gadot, of Fast & Furious fame, has been confirmed to play Wonder Woman alonside Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman in the 2015 DC blockbuster sequel to this year’s Man of Steel!
“Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe,” director Zack Snyder said of the casting. “Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”
As of yet, there are little other details revealed for the upcoming film other than release date, July 17th 2015, and these three cast members, with the Flash hotly tipped to be making an appearance as well.
