Honedge

Swords are dangerous! Sword Pokémon with special abilities are even more dangerous! Sword Pokémon that come to life after a weapon is possessed by the spirit of a former living being is probably the most dangerous thing going! This Pokémon is not only a deadly ghost blade, it will literally feed off the life force of a person that dares take a hold of it! So if it came down to fighting for your life using a Honedge or being brutalised by stampeding Tauren… I’ll take death by trampling!

Apparently this Pokémon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force.

Gothitelle

Sometimes all the power in the Universe can be a curse! Gothitelle is an extremely powerful psychic, they develop the ability to map the stars from their earlier evolutionary stages. Coupling that ability with the intense relationships they tend to develop with their trainers the Gothitelle can see the future of their trainer, in fact they are able to pinpoint the exact moment their beloved partner dies. Yup, you’ve got yourself a walking death clock that mourns endlessly when it is in your presence! That’s like having an obituary tattooed on your forehead!

It can see the future from the movement of the stars. When it learns its Trainer’s life span, it cries in sadness.

Duskull

It might look like a cute little ghost… with one creepy eye… it is a cute little ghost that loves the sound of people crying! Now when I say people I of course mean children! This guy has a special knack for vigilantism; it prefers to target children deemed naughty and it will take them into the realm of spirits forever – whether true or not, the fact this creepy little ghoul also possesses the ability to pass through walls only lends to it’s creepiness!

If it finds bad children who won’t listen to their parents, it will spirit them away–or so it’s said.

Yamask

This pretty self explanatory – that is the spirit of a person who died! The thing it’s holding is a mask of it’s original human face! When it looks at the mask, it bursts in to tears! Are the people at GameFreak trying to traumatise children/young adults/me?

Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.

Cubone

I like Cubone! I’m going to say that now because the rest of this isn’t so positive! This little guy gets a lot of attention and has dozens of tribute videos, fan-fics, art and more all over the internet! Why? Well Cubone is the ‘lonely’ Pokémon and many theorise that it’s lonely because it’s mother died and to remind itself of her, it wears her skull thus putting all other Pokémon off and increasing it’s loneliness – the poor little guy gets a lot of sympathy!

You know who else is really lonely, has issues with his mother and (shut up and don’t say me!) is driven to despair? NORMAN BATES! Cubone isn’t some helpless little creature… it’s wearing it’s own mothers skull! That means this little monster had to remove it from the dead body, clean it (most likely stripped the flesh away itself, did it eat? Who knows?) and then fasten it on itself like a helmet! What about that sounds endearing?!

It wears the skull of its dead mother on its head. When it becomes lonesome, it is said to cry loudly.
