The beloved video-game franchise, Ni no Kuni, has reached approximately 1.4 million units sold worldwide. The figure includes worldwide sales of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, released for PlayStation®3, and Japan only sales of its Nintendo DS™ counterpart. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was released exclusively on PlayStation®3 in Europe last January.”
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is the story of Oliver a young boy whose mother dies and his resulting tears break the curse placed on Drippy the High Lord of the Fairies. Once free, Drippy tells Oliver that he is the “Pure Hearted One”, and that he must travel to another world to save them from the Dark Djinn and have a chance at restoring his mother to life.
