Marvel/Avengers/Agent Coulson fans lend us your ears/eyes! A while back we brought you news that there was a new Marvel show in the works, a live action one at that. “S.H.I.E.L.D.” is a live action television show spearheaded by Joss Whedon based around the fictional organisation charged with protecting mankind from all kinds of disasters, super villains and everything in between.
Now it seems that during the course of their New York Comic Con panel, Marvel dedicated a little time to talking about the project and when the crowd began to chant ‘Coulson’ over and over again things went from interesting to exciting! In case you don’t remember Agent Coulson ( played by Clark Gregg) is a member of SHIELD, dedicated, fearless and long time fan-boy of superheroes especially Captain America who had an unfortunate run with God of Mischief, Loki. With a quick wit, great sense of humour and some serious guts and courage Coulson became a quick favourite for fans of the Avengers and it seems the creators of SHIELD have copped on to this…
To quieten the crowd a video of Joss Whedon began and the director/writer/legend had this to say:
“We all love Clark Gregg. before we even made the Avengers, we discussed if there was a way for him to be a part of the Marvel Universe, maybe even a TV show, after his death.“
Now it seems that Gregg won’t just be reprising the role of Coulson for some flashbacks or tiny bit scenes, everyone’s favourite Agent will be according to news sources, a big part of the show!
