The free-to-play action online role-playing game is the first of several blockbuster games for which ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Sony Online Entertainment have concluded a partnership in order to operate the games in Europe.
DC Universe Online, along with all current expansion packs, is playable on all European servers. So far, since the game started at SOE in January, 2011, four large expansion packs have been released. Following Fight for the Light, Lightning Strikes, and Battle for Earth, The Last Laugh is now available as well. In this fourth expansion pack, the evil and dangerous Joker is trying to make the world go down in chaos. The expansion mainly focuses on multiplayer game-play and contains new PvP battle arenas, Legends characters with light powers, the Kryptonians, and The Shield as a new weapon.
