“The film is set after the events of the anime’s second season, in which Kirito, Asuna and their friends start playing a new game known as Ordinal Scale.”
Produced by A-1 Productions, the story is written by the original creator of the series, Reki Kawahara. Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale the subbed version features the voice talents of Cherami Leigh, Michelle Ruff and Bryce Papenbrook.
The film is set for release in Japanese theatres mid 2017 but no date for release here just yet! We’ll be sure to keep you posted when the news breaks!
