Square Enix showed off a brand new trailer for The Last Remnant Remastered. This isn’t a reboot though but a remastering, as the RPG heads to PlayStation 4 later this year.
The trailer highlights the graphical improvements made from Xbox 360 to PS4. The updated look are thanks to the move from the Unreal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 4. Genuinely it looks like an entirely different game. I picked up TLR in a bargain bin in Gamestop years ago and immediately fell in love with the story and gameplay.
The remastered version is not slated for retail version, Square Enix are only making it available on digital release. If that changes, then they need to include a huge collector’s edition and I’ll totally buy 10!
