Rosa Devine does Comics
Art Clash is really excited to have Rosa Devine teaching the art of comics on May 30th at 8pm in the basement of The Twisted Pepper. Tickets, priced at €15 available from www.artclash.net
Rosa, who is famed for her fantastic comic depictions, will be guiding attendees through creating their very own comic. No previous experience of (reading, writing or drawing) comics in necessary! Just sit back, have a drink and learn new ways of drawing and using your imagination!
Taking an idea into a visual artwork, Rosa will be guiding you through the technique and skill attached to the very distinctive and stylised art of comic imagery and the imagination infused into creating a final piece. Different techniques of drawing, even layering and collage will be explored as you turn your mom into WonderWoMOM.
DJ Glamo will also return with choons to inspire and accompany your creations and the twisted pepper’s drink deals and amazing cocktails can whet your appetite for creativity!
Art Clash is a series of alternative evening art classes set in nightclubs with deadly djs and drink deals. It’s open to beginners, people curious about being creative, and even professional artists looking to try out something new and have a fun bop while learning arty business! Upcoming clashes include Illustration, Digital Photography and Animation.
