New Trailer For Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen’s Gravestone
A new trailer has been released for the latest movie in the long running Lupin the IIIrd series, know as Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen’s Gravestone. As you can see from the trailer, the regular cast will be returning, with Jigen, Fujiko and of course Lupin himself. The plot of the film sees Lupin and Jigen attempting to steal the secret treasure, Little Comet. During the mission, they come across an assassin who wants Jigen dead.
Now while a new Lupin the IIIrd movie really isn’t a huge deal, seeing as there is just so many at this point, this time the director of the project will be Takeshi Koike, known most notably for Redline. With such a well regarded director with such a flare for style and over the top action, I can imagine a Lupin the IIIrd movie set in the same style would be out of this world.
The animation production will be handled by Telecom Animation Film and will be distributed by TMS Entertainment.
