Shiny headed musical genius Devin Townsend recently launched his latest record Transcendence and while the album is an incredible progressive heavy metal experience, I’m going to take a small step back to the album prior. Why you may ask? Because nothing says geeky like a the second installation in a space themed rock opera about an alien coming to earth to take our coffee because it gives him eternal life. While you should definitely listen to the whole Z2: Dark Matters album because it’s impressive as it is hilarious, I’m just going to leave its lead single ‘Deathray’ right here.
