Brian Tee Expresses Interest In Playing Marvel’s Namor
With Marvel getting more and more of their characters back, the cinematic universe seems to be bursting at the seems with potential.
One of those characters who fans and actors have got their eyes set on is Namor The Sub Mariner. Namor is one of Marvels oldest characters. He first made an appearance in 1939 and was licensed to Universal during the Marvel bankruptcy that led to them licensing characters to the likes of Fox and Universal.
During an interview for Entertainment Tonight, Brian Tee was asked if he had any dream roles, to which he mentioned Namor. Tee also went to talk about the lack of opportunities for Asian-Americans and people of colour to be lead roles in movies.
The mere mention of his interest in playing Namor had fans backing him up on Twitter #BrianTeeAsNamor and of course there had to be some impressive fan art from BossLogic.
If it was based on appearance alone Brian Tee would definitely be a for runner but we can only wait and see if Namor will grace our screens anytime soon. If you want to suss out his acting skills check him out as Shredder in TMNT 2 out in cinemas now.
