For those who have been following the Sasako Mitomo Killer Killer manga, it was was revealed on Monday that the new spin-off title is to be called Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer .Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine reveals that this new manga is said to draw inspiration from the games series, with particular influence from the upcoming Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibaōgamine Gakuen anime series.
For anyone who has not read the initial chapters there will be no spoilers here except the manga does follow the original manga protagonists Takumi Hijirihara and Misaki Asano after the “Gibo’ura Middle School Large-Scale Massacre”.
Killer Killer was launched in Bassatsu Shonen Magazine on March 9 and the upcoming anime Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibaōgamine Gakuen will premiere in July with both a Zetsubō Hen and Mirai Hen both focusing on the characters from the first and second anime’s arcs.
