It has now been confirmed (not that anyone is surprised) that Lupita Nyong’o will be reprising her role as the quirky pirate, Maz Kanata, in the upcoming eighth episode of Star Wars.
The Oscar-winning actress confirmed the news while on Live with Kelly & Michael.
Although Maz Kanata didn’t have very much screen time in The Force Awakens, we suspect we’ll be seeing much more of her in the upcoming film.
