According to Point of Geeks, Natalia Cordova-Buckley (McFarland, USA) is confirmed to play Yo Yo Rodriguez AKA Slingshot as part of the team of Secret Warriors to go up against the forces of HYDRA later in Season 3 of Agents of Shield.
The Marvel Comics character is a speedster like The Flash and Quicksilver but, unlike her male counterparts, her power eventually slingshots her back to the point where she started from.
It hasn’t yet been revealed when exactly she will show up but the actress is set to begin work on the series in January so her début is looking to happen in the Springtime. The addition of Cordova will add even more diversity to the cast, while also opening up a wide choice of storylines from the comics that involve Slingshot and the Secret Warriors
