Forty years of an on and off relationship saw the public splitting of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy earlier this month, much to the shock and heartbreak of believers in love across the planet as the original OTP crumbled, and our hearts shattered.
We’re still not over it.
A statement released by Mr. Frog stated, “We will continue to work together on television… however our personal lives are now distinct and separate and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs et al.”
Miss Piggy also stated, “This is our only comment on this private matter, unless we get the right offer. Dating moi is like flying close to the sun…It was inevitable that Kermit would drop down to the ground while I stayed in the heavens.”
Sources state that the green skinned amphibian has been spotted with a new bae who goes by the name of Denise. Judging by the pictures, we can’t help but feel that Kermit definitely has a type, with reports also suggesting that Miss Piggy may indeed be attached to one Liam Hemsworth.
