Jeepers, creepers, where’d ya get those peepers!? From Myriad Productions, as they’ve greenlit a third Jeppers Creepers movie from producer Francis Ford Coppola and directed by Victor Salva.
Cast members Brandon Smith and Jonathan Breck are turning for their respective roles for Jeepers Creepers 3 as Sargeant Davis Tubbs and the Creeper and this time, the Sargeant wants to put the monster down once and for all. The film’s plot sounds a little action heavy from the outset with the inclusion of a task force and there’ll for sure be prequel elements with an origin story for the monster being hinted at. Hopefully production doesn’t go too heavy into either as it was the hard horror of the first two that gave them their charm.
“What will go before cameras as Jeepers Creepers 3 is a new and terrifying chapter from the Jeepers universe,” said director Salva. “We are bringing back the Creeper’s truck, and will be addressing the big questions about The Creeper: what it is, where it came from and why it does what it does.”
Production will begin sometime next year.
