Actor Playing Colossus Confirmed For Deadpool
The Colossus we’ve known and loved since X2: X-Men United, Daniel Cudmore, was let go in favour of a new casting call for the steel giant. Although we’ll miss Cudmore and his stoic mannerisms, we very much look forward to seeing relative newcomer Andre Tricoteux take on the role.
The Deadpool movie wrapped recently and cast members sent out tweets confirming that filming had finished; one of the messages was from Gina Carano (who will be playing Angel Dust in the film) to Tricoteux in which she wrote ‘the best Colossus a person could ask for Andre.’

Tricoteux himself thanked all the cast and crew in a wrap-up tweet as well.
