Its true, the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner is expanding the support for the tuner to a further 11 European countries including Ireland!

This will offer Xbox One owners the use of live TV features on their Xbox One previously unavailable to anyone without the dedicated set top boxes. The features will include:
– Watching Over-the-air TV on your Xbox One, use the TV tuner and antenna to set and watch your free over-the-air television channels. You can interlace your gaming experiences with the ease of watching some TV, waiting for a multiplayer match to start? Why not watch some TV to fill the time. You will even still get your game invites and notifications while you’re watching TV.
– Use your Xbox One controller or the Media Remote to browse through the OneGuide full-screen of all your TV listings while you can also utilise the MiniGuide for your TV listings also.
– Have something to do? Why not pause what you’re watching and do that? Your Xbox will cache for up to 30 minutes where you can come back and catch up on what you missed.
– Want to watch TV and game or skype at the same time? Now by snapping TV it allows you to split your screen to optimize the screen.
– It wouldn’t be Xbox without some sort of voice gimmick, yes you will be able to change the channel using your Kinect. Just say “Xbox, watch NBC” to swap channels. No more losing the remote.
– Customize the experience by saving your favourite channels so you can see what’s on and have an easier choice.
– Now you can even have access to your OneGuide through the Xbox One SmartGlass app so you can stream your TV needs to one or more devices where the app is available.unnamed
Xbox One Digital TV Tuner is available now is some regions including Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the UK and Spain with the 11 added countries including Ireland having availability later this year.
