Remain calm Dragon Ball fans out there, remain calm. Yes it is official there will be a new Dragon Ball anime series launching this July. After the amazing success of the past two new anime films for the franchise it seems fruitful for a new series. This will be the first anime series of Dragon Ball in 18 years after Dragon Ball GT wrapped in 1997.
This new series will be titled Dragon Ball Super and will include much to this and most fans delight the events of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z along with the two new films event and it will ignore the non-canon additive of Dragon Ball GT (Yay!).
The major question for a lot of very excited fans is where will this series pickup in terms of continuity? Before, during or after the new films events? It has been said apparently the series will be a few years following the defeat of Majin Buu, a time where the world is at peace. More details will be released as we come closer to the release date this July. Fight on Z Fighters!
