We’re just about to see the new Cinderella, and already Disney have announced the next member of the live action slate. The classic Dumbo is getting a new cinematic treatment from none other than the neo-goth himself, Tim Burton.
Coming from The Hollywood Reporter, Burton has been signed on to direct with Ehren Kruger, a writer of the Transformers franchise, set to script the film as well as produce with Justin Springer. Burton’s films have been known to garner success, with his Alice In Wonderland taking over a billion only a few years ago. As of yet no-one is tied to the project to act, but we can be sure Johnny Depp isn’t too far down the list.
