Nothing says good morning like the news that our favourite acid spitting, tongue lashing, ass kicking fighter is returning to the ring of Mortal Kombat! Reptile has been confirmed to take his place with the release of a new gameplay video showing off his moves against the recently confirmed Kung Lao, giving us the chance to see how this fighter has been improving his skills for a chance to show off!
First introduced in Mortal Kombat, he was a hidden character before becoming a regular playable character in MK II, at first a hybrid of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Reptile used a combination of both their power setes before ultimately developing his own and growing into his namesake. His costume has evolved too, garbed first in the disguise of a human in similar outfit to his frozen and hellfire counterparts, he eventually dropped these to reveal his leathery skin, elongated and sharp features as well as his terrifying stare.
Mortal Kombat X is due for release April 14 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
