Arnols Schwarzenegger, the original terminator, has taken to his Facebook page to announce that the latest in the Terminator film franchise has finished filming. Officially titled Terminator: Genisys, the fifth installment will land in theaters July 1st 2015. So not long to wait, then!
Co-starring Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung Hun Lee and Matt Smith, Genisys is the first Terminator film in 5 years, with 2009’s Terminator: Salvation having left a bit of a bad taste in fans mouths. Genisys is directed by Alan Taylor of Thor: The Dark World fame, with a screenplay written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier.
