As if Looney Tunes would be exempt from the rebooting and re-franchising of every property ever. Warner Bros. have confirmed a new film is in the pipeline, and even has their lead actor and writers picked out. Steve Carrell will be the human representative on-screen, while X-Men First Class writers Ashley and Zack Stentz are taking on the script.
The project has been dubbed Acme, and the actual formalities of the plot have yet to revealed, however /Film have confirmed that the film ‘will not center around any familiar members’ of the cartoon ensemble, and that it might even be a spin-off.
