No! That’s not some special execution move for Zombies! The hit show, ‘The Walking Dead’ based off the critically acclaimed graphic novel series by the same name is returning to our television screens October 13th but it seems that the success of the show has given producers cause to develop something new but they aren’t being silly about this and have turned to the original creator of the comic series, Robert Kirkman, to get on board with this new idea!
On the topic of a spin-off show, Kirkman said he “couldn’t be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe…The opportunity to make a show that isn’t tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page, has set my creativity racing.”
Unfortunately we’re going to have to wait until at least 2015 for this new project but with a potential to see some new stories and characters play out, it sounds like it’s going to be worth the wait!
